About me

I’m 24, female currently residing in Manchester in England. I  studied to be a basic skills tutor but  didn’t enjoy that at all. I’m writing as much as possible at the moment, mostly short stories but I have at least one idea that could develop into a novel if I ever discipline myself enough. I’m a bit of a useless blogger at times, but I keep trying. I enjoy  writing, reading, music and film, pretty much in that order. My taste is pretty eclectic but my favourites include: Music: Green Day, Incubus, Jackson Browne, Neil Young, CSN. Films: See the post Top 5 films. Authors: Jasper Fforde, Jeanette Winterson, Benjamin Lebert, Nick Hornby, Ben Elton and Armistead Maupin. My favourite colour is purple, it’s supposed to help with creativity so maybe that’s why. I’m addicted to cheese and chocolate. I don’t have a TV but I still watch Greys anatomy, which I wouldn’t normally admit but there doesn’t seem any point denying it seen as I already mentioned it once, I also watch Doctor Who and Torchwood. I have Cerebral Palsy and I’ve just purchased a Quantum Rehab Q600 Sport (Q6000z in the US) that’s my powered wheelchair for the uninitiated, which I highly recommend. I recently switched to a MacBook and use MacSpeech Dictate to do most of my typing so if there’s any weird syntax that’s why. I hope you enjoy reading my posts and come visit often.
